These are the steps to transfer your .IE domain name from another provider to MAXER:

  1. To initiate the transfer of an .IE domain name, you need the EPP code for the domain name.
For .IE domains, the EPP code is sometimes referred to as an Auth Code by the .IE Registry and some other providers. Both terms mean the same thing.
The EPP code can be requested from your current domain registrar, or directly from the .IE Registry by emailing registrations@weare.ie or by calling +353 1 236 5400.
Please note that the EPP code will be sent by email to the primary administrative contact on file for the domain name. If you need to update this contact information, please contact your current registrar for assistance (or if there's some issue with that please contact the .IE Registry).
  2. Place an order to transfer the domain registration on our website at https://my.maxer.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer
  3. On the order page, enter the EPP code (sometimes called an Auth Code for .IE domains).
  4. Enter your contact and billing information and complete the order.

The EPP code is required to process an .IE domain transfer; there's no alternative procedure. Most .IE domain transfers complete automatically within 2 hours - but first time orders may be subject to manual checks. Once the transfer is complete, you will receive a confirmation email and will be able to manage your domain in the MAXER client area under the “Domains” section.
