January 2026 – Notice to customers of TheHostingPool
We are delighted to welcome TheHostingPool clients to Maxer. After twenty-five years in business, Paul Hayes is moving into semi-retirement, and Maxer has taken over the web hosting side of the business. If you missed the original announcement from TheHostingPool, please read the blog post here.

Your existing hosting plans, web servers, and domain names have been transferred to Maxer and are now active.

Maxer provides web hosting, cloud servers, domain registration, and SSL certificates. An account has been created for you in the Maxer client area, where you can manage all your products and services, view invoices, make payments, and access technical support.

Your existing services will be copied across automatically. No technical changes are required, and there will be no downtime.

Login to Maxer

To log in to the Maxer client area for the first time, please request a password reset.

On your first login, please take a moment to check the following:

  • Account Details – Please check that your full name and address are correct, including your Eircode. Add a mobile number if one is not already provided.
  • Contacts – Contacts are trusted people who receive copies of notifications sent by Maxer. For example, you can add someone from your finance department to receive billing emails only.
  • User Management – Users are trusted people who have their own login to manage parts of your account. For example, you can add a colleague or website manager as an additional user.

Our invoicing policies

  • The billing system at Maxer is largely automated for your convenience. Invoices are generated 28 days in advance, and your existing renewal dates and billing periods will remain unchanged.
  • Any invoices issued by TheHostingPool that were unpaid and had a due date after 1 January 2026 have been recreated on Maxer. If you received an invoice from TheHostingPool before Christmas and have already scheduled a bank transfer, please email us a copy of the remittance so we can ensure the renewal is processed promptly.
  • If you have a standing order in place to TheHostingPool, please arrange to cancel it with your bank. Our billing team can set up a Direct Debit for recurring payments or provide bank details for one-off payments. No further payments should be made to TheHostingPool bank account.
  • Credit card details have not been copied across. If you normally pay by credit card, please make payment when you receive your next invoice.
  • We also support PayPal recurring billing. You can create a PayPal Billing Agreement on your Maxer account to automatically pay future renewals.
  • If you are a corporate or government entity and require Maxer to complete a new supplier form, please email it to us.

We’re pleased to welcome you and look forward to supporting you for many years to come.

Regards,
